District Heating Construction Works on Clarence Crescent

Dear residents, 

In line with current government guidance, our construction works on Clarence Crescent are continuing with appropriate H&S measures taken to protect our operatives and the general public. 

Phase 6 works at the northern end of Clarence Crescent are progressing quickly.  The section of road that is currently closed is due to be reopened by Tuesday 26th May.  At that point our site hoarding will move into Clarence Avenue for Phase 7 of works with traffic controls put in place.  

PHASE 6 OF EXCAVATION WORKS: 

• DATE OF WORKS: Saturday 2nd May to Tuesday 26th May 

• LOCATION: Clarence Crescent between the school carpark entrance and the northern intersection with the resident slip-road, as per below image. 

• PARKING BAY SUSPENSIONS: There will be no available parking between the school carpark entrance and the northern intersection with the resident slip-road. Please ensure your vehicle is not within the highlighted areas where works are due to take place as your vehicle may be towed.  

• REFUSE COLLECTIONS: These works will not cause any disruption to refuse collections. 

 PHASE 7 OF EXCAVATION WORKS: 

• DATE OF WORKS: Tuesday 26th May to mid-June  

• LOCATION: The northern intersection with the resident slip-road on Clarence Crescent to the centre of the Clarence Avenue (west-bound lane closure), as per below image. 

PHASE 8 OF EXCAVATION WORKS: 

• DATE OF WORKS: Mid-June to early-July 

• LOCATION: The centre of the Clarence Avenue (East-bound lane closure) and Wharncliffe Mews, as per below image.
